Large plot field trials take place on commercially operating farms, so selecting the right fields and growers are important.  LeafBit will help with field selection and trial placement to manage variability and visibility.

Drone application of spray treatments offers many advantages over using ground sprayers, including more options for replicating treatments across a field, and avoiding sprayer tracks.  Spray drones have smaller tanks which are also quicker to clean out between treatments

LeafBit specializes in reliable research grade image collection.  We will coordinate with research farms to visit your trials and collect high quality RGB or Multispectral imagery  

Imagery used for Research must be stitched/combined to create orthomosaic maps.  We operate the specialized software required to process images into maps, which can then be used to extract data.

Once the plot maps have been created, LeafBit will extract the appropriate metrics from the images depending on the traits, plant response you are trying to measure.  Often multiple measurements are needed to manage and understand field variability.
